When we came up with the idea of doing a bio on the different instructors at The Megacycle I thought I need to find a photo of me where I am
A) sweaty and
If you ever take one of my classes you will see that I am ALWAYS sweaty and I am ALWAYS smiling. It is because I love what I do!
Someone told me recently “having a job that you love means never working for the rest of your life.” I am lucky enough to have that! I LOVE what I do! I love motivating people. I love helping people meet & exceed their goals. I love being a part of their transformation both physically and mentally.
I have certifications in group fitness classes, as a personal trainer, and as a spinning instructor. Out of all of my certifications, my heart & soul are in spinning.
I understand the drive that brings a lot of people to group exercise. When I was younger, I was 210 lbs @ 5′ tall. It was a really low point in my life and I didn’t believe that it would ever change. But it did! I started to MOVE. Exercise made me HAPPY. Exercise made me CALM. Exercise made me realize all of the things in life that I was missing. I am now happier, more fulfilled, and more fit than I have ever been in my life.
I believe that our classes can help you reach those same goals.
And YOU are worth it!
I’ve been certified in spin since 1996- almost 20 years. I took one class and was hooked for life! I’ve taught at multiple gyms but my HOME has been Megacycle since Megan opened. I knew this environment was perfect for me!
I thrive on putting a class routine together; finding music that motivates; and taking a room of riders through the best workout of their life! I enjoy getting to know the participants in my classes and design my workouts with them in mind.
I’ve done lots of outdoor road-rides in my life, but I am now 100% spin! Indoor riding allows me to get that cardio workout—-that burn—- all year long. I look forward to teaching spin every day and love to hear what members have to say after the class.
Nothing is better than feeling great after a workout, and I consider myself lucky to be able to encourage participants to work hard, to reach and exceed their fitness goals!
I have been a longtime fitness enthusiast and have always enjoyed being physically active.
I took a spin class many many years ago and was hooked. In 1998 I became a certified spin instructor and caught the teaching-bug.
I love motivating people and helping them meet their fitness goals. Being a strong, active and fit role-model is a high priority in my life!!
I continue to have varied athletic pursuits including running half marathons, marathon relays as well as CrossFit. I also love to train in different capacities whether it be for a race or a competition.
I look forward to riding with you and BELIEVE anyone can reach their fitness goals!!
I came and tried a class in October of 2013 and by the following May I won the Megaloser 2014 contest and got certified to teach classes. I LOVE the sweat, the exercise, the music, and most especially the connection with my fellow spinners.
Most of the classes I teach are EARLY in the morning- so please, set your alarm to get up and come ride with me! I promise you it will be worth it:)
On the days I’m not teaching classes at Megacycle you will find me there taking one. I love to learn – I’ve got multiple masters degrees and now my thirst for knowledge has spilled over to my spinning.
I am always looking for new rides, new music and new ways to motivate my customers. We are like a big family at Megacycle and I love that. I’ve met so many great people and now I have this amazing opportunity to help them reach their goals.
I believe every day is an opportunity for a positive change and I’m here to help you make it!
