Hi! My name is Megan Gridley and I am the owner of The Megacycle.
When we came up with the idea of doing a bio on the different instructors at The Megacycle I thought I need to find a photo of me where I am
A) sweaty and
B) smiling.
If you ever take one of my classes you will see that I am ALWAYS sweaty and I am ALWAYS smiling. It is because I love what I do!
Someone told me recently “having a job that you love means never working for the rest of your life.” I am lucky enough to have that! I LOVE what I do! I love motivating people. I love helping people meet & exceed their goals. I love being a part of their transformation both physically and mentally.
I have certifications in group fitness classes, as a personal trainer, and as a spinning instructor. Out of all of my certifications, my heart & soul are in spinning.
I understand the drive that brings a lot of people to group exercise. When I was younger, I was 210 lbs @ 5′ tall. It was a really low point in my life and I didn’t believe that it would ever change. But it did! I started to MOVE. Exercise made me HAPPY. Exercise made me CALM. Exercise made me realize all of the things in life that I was missing. I am now happier, more fulfilled, and more fit than I have ever been in my life.
I believe that our classes can help you reach those same goals.
And YOU are worth it!
Hi! My name is Amy Nelson and I am happy to say I am one of the instructors at The Megacycle.
I’ve been certified in spin since 1996. I took a class in NYC and was instantly hooked for life! I’ve taught at multiple gyms in New Jersey and Austin, Texas over the past 10 years.
I thrive on putting a class routine together; finding music that motivates; and taking a room of riders through the best workout of their life! I enjoy getting to know the participants in my classes and try to design my workouts with them in mind.
In addition to miles logged on a spin bike, I have also logged many miles/ hours on a road bike and have participated in several yearly cycling events including the MS rides, The Danskin tri, and Lance Armstrong’s famed race “The Ride for the Roses”. I look forward to teaching spin every day and love to hear what members have to say after the class.
Nothing is better than feeling great after a workout, and I consider myself lucky to be able to encourage participants to work hard, to reach and exceed their fitness goals!
Hi my name is Jen and you can find me super-early in the morning teaching classes at The Megacycle.
I began spinning almost 10 years ago with just one class, and fell in love. Nothing makes me feel better about a great workout and SPINNING gives you that.
I’ve been instructing for almost 5 years. I love to give a high energy, music pumping, motivating classes.
I believe that everyone has the ability to find their inner athlete and push themselves a little further than they think they can go. We all have a little more inside of us and it is my job to bring it out!
I enjoy all types of exercise. You will find me participating in local triathlons and road races all year long. Exercising in groups, whether large or small, is very motivating.
Everyone deserves to give their body and mind one hour a day.
“Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting. So… get on your way!”

Hi! My name is Mollie and I teach at The Megacycle on Monday mornings at 9:30am. I am the new kid on the block with the “A” type personality. Always love a challenge!
Fitness has always been a big part of my life. Since I was a little girl growing up with 2 brothers and a lot of male cousins I had no choice but to participate and was always included in basketball, two hand touch football, running and of course my favorite – bicycle riding for hours around my block. I loved riding my bike because it gave me the feeling of freedom! When spinning first came to NJ I decided to try and I was instantly hooked. I have been teaching spin and am MADD dog certified since 1998. I have many certifications, but spinning is my true passion! I love the feeling that you get from it and most importantly, the connection that you make with every student in the class-we become one big happy family. Being an avid road cyclist I always try to bring the real outdoor roads into my classroom.
My goal is to inspire and motivate people to find a passion for fitness and achieve higher levels of success in and outside the gym.
I am fortunate and love the warm and friendly environment at Megacycle!
